Hands-on EHS leader responsible for environmental, health, and safety oversight in a manufacturing and warehousing facility. Reports to the Plant Manager with regional EHS support.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
Lead safety programs, including Behavior-Based Safety initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments, investigations, inspections, and compliance reporting.
Manage hazardous materials, waste programs, and environmental reporting.
Oversee safety training, emergency preparedness, and required documentation.
Serve as EHS advisor to site leadership and liaison during regulatory inspections and workers’ compensation claims.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
Experience with safety programs, compliance reporting, and hazardous waste regulations.
Relevant certifications (CSP, CHMM, CIH) preferred.
