Description
Our client, within the food and beverage industry is seeking an EHS Manager to join their team. As a EHS Manager, you will be part of the Safety and Compliance Department supporting Manufacturing Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: EHS Manager
Location: Eugene, Oregon 97402 (open to relocation)
Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000 + 10% Bonus
What's the Job?
Lead and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Manage and guide the EHS team, including overseeing the EHS Specialist and developing safety initiatives.
Develop and oversee safety compliance, environmental sustainability, and risk mitigation strategies.
Partner with operations and leadership teams to promote safety policies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify workplace hazards, develop control programs, and support accident investigations with timely follow-up.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiar with environmental regulations specific to WA, CA or OR.
Strong background in safety program development, audits, training, and compliance.
Experience with OSHA recordkeeping and workers’ compensation processes preferred.
Proven ability to influence, lead, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
