A leading EMS provider is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to drive a proactive, enterprise-wide safety culture across clinical operations, fleet, maintenance, and administrative functions.

This is a highly visible, high-impact role responsible for shifting safety from a reactive function to a strategic leadership priority. The EHS Manager will lead incident investigations, implement data-driven risk mitigation strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership—balancing hands-on execution with organizational influence. The role carries authority to halt unsafe operations and enforce corrective actions to protect employees and patients.

Scope of responsibility includes:

  • Ownership of enterprise EHS programs, including OSHA compliance, hazard communication, and workplace safety standards
  • Leadership of incident investigations, root cause analysis, and Just Culture application across accidents, injuries, and clinical risks
  • Oversight of workers' compensation, return-to-work programs, and insurance/risk mitigation initiatives
  • Management of telematics and behavioral safety programs to proactively reduce driving and operational risk
  • Development of SOPs, job hazard assessments, and ergonomics programs across field and office environments
  • Partnership with HR and Education teams to design and implement corrective action plans and safety training

Ideal profile:

  • ASP or CSP certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification
  • 3–5+ years of EHS leadership experience in EMS, healthcare, or fleet operations
  • Strong background in incident investigation, regulatory compliance, and safety program development
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving culture change
  • Additional certifications (ARM, CDS, CHMM, CPHRM) preferred
