We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. This is a permanent role that requires a deep understanding of environmental regulations, safety training, and accident investigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ensuring the safety of our employees while minimizing our environmental impact. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in EHS roles.

Responsibilities:

As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the organization's EHS programs and initiatives.
2. Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
3. Identifying potential environmental and safety risks and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
4. Providing safety training and education to employees to foster a culture of safety within the organization.
5. Leading accident investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
6. Developing and maintaining documentation related to EHS activities such as incident reports, training records, and regulatory reports.
7. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the integration of EHS considerations into business decisions.
8. Staying abreast of current and emerging EHS regulations and industry trends to ensure the organization's ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for the EHS Manager position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within the Engineering industry.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
4. Proven experience in conducting safety training and accident investigations.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey EHS policies and procedures across all levels of the organization.
6. Ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
7. Proficiency in using EHS management systems and other related software.
8. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or other relevant certifications are a plus.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
10. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the EHS field.
