Support the store management team with proactively mitigating hazards, conducting training programs and driving operational excellenceKey Responsibilities:Print POS tickets to support Primark's Pricing policyAssist with inputting price adjustments on systemPrint units per hour measures for tills when needed to support Till Team Manager's understanding of resource requirements and effectivenessSupport with customer queries with a view to resolving them in line with our customer promisePeopleAct as the point of contact in-store for Operations and EHS queriesActively cascade any Operations and EHS topics that arise to the store teamPromote compliance to Operations and EHS policies and proceduresFeedback and escalate to EHS & Operations In-Store Lead on Operations and EHS issues for resolution when requiredListen and communicate effectively as part of a successful store teamDemonstrate trust and mutual respect in all interactions with the store teamSupport with EHS training for new starters and refresher training for Retail Assistants when requiredOperations / Cost ControlSupport the store management team to deliver operational excellence throughout the store and in line with ‘The Way We Work' manualUpdate the Store Manager / EHS & Operations In-Store Lead on your daily / weekly activities along with any store deadlinesSupport with EHS activities in accordance with local guidelinesReview DAN/WAN communications and action Operations and EHS tasksUnderstand and adhere to GDPR policies and proceduresInput updates to systems and maintain stock file accuracy (e.g. Soiled & Damaged, New Life, kimball corrections, markdowns, delivery dockets, transfers in/out, balances and transvals)Raise maintenance repair work orders on PRIMMS system accordingly and liaise with the contractor, so the tasks are completed within agreed timeframesSupport store management team by completing relevant contractor management paperworkAssist with reporting and resolving any technology repairs in a timely mannerManage the lost property (non-valuable) processComplete stationery orders for the storeOrder shop floor goods (not for resale)Support with routine self auditsOrder PPE to maintain sufficient stock of supplies for a safe working environmentCheck First Aid kits are stocked with relevant materials / suppliesSkills & ExperienceDesire to provide great colleague & customer experienceGreat people skills with an ability to build and maintain credible working relationships with colleaguesAbility to effectively communicate, guide and support colleaguesPlanning and organization skills with strong attention to detailAdministrative and computer skillsPositive, proactive and self-motivatedPrimark is an equal opportunity employer.
