    Description

    E-Logic Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS Project Manager to provide senior-level environmental, health, and safety advisory and project management services for the DOS EHS Services contract. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a broad range of industrial hygiene and safety issues across domestic Department facilities, providing expert technical advice, and ensuring compliance with federal occupational safety and health regulations. This role requires strong experience managing EHS programs for large, multi-worksite federal agencies and interacting with senior leadership. This position is contingent upon contract award.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and advise on domestic industrial hygiene and safety issues, including identifying, monitoring, and providing recommendations for the resolution of a broad range of occupational health and safety concerns.
    • Provide expert advisory services on industrial hygiene matters, including indoor air quality investigations, occupational exposure assessments, PPE selection and evaluation, and asbestos sampling and abatement oversight.
    • Advise on safety matters, including construction and facilities maintenance safety, working aloft and fall protection, electrical safety (NFPA 70E), job hazard analyses, and accident investigation.
    • Review construction and demolition plans for potential health and safety issues and monitor contractor performance using Maximo software.
    • Develop, enhance, and modify work processes, equipment, and protective devices to minimize injury to employees and contractors.
    • Use field testing equipment, such as radiation survey meters, PCR, and infrared spectroscopy, to assess threats posed by mail or unknown powder incidents.
    • Develop and deliver EHS training to affected organizations and individuals.
    • Prepare technical reports, letters, and memoranda; update FSP website content using SharePoint.
    • Provide on-call support for after-hours emergencies and maintain reliable cellular communication during duty hours.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing EHS programs for a large, multi-worksite federal agency.
    • Proven contract oversight experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to apply facilities-related safety and occupational health policies, practices, and principles.
    • Certification as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred but not required.
    • Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with EHS-related software (e.g., Maximo) is a plus.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen; ability to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) clearance.
    • Location: Washington, D.C. (on-site at Harry S Truman Building, 2201 C Street NW). Travel to other domestic DOS facilities may be required.
    • Employment Type: Full-Time (2,000 hours annually)
