What you will do::

The Manager, EHS Systems & Governance, is responsible for ensuring that QXO's Environment, Health, Safety & Security programs are consistently executed across the enterprise through standardized business processes, governance, reporting, and digital enablement.

 

This role serves as the governance owner for enterprise EHS platforms, ensuring enterprise EHS programs remain aligned with regulatory requirements, operational needs, and organizational growth through standardized business processes and digital enablement.

 

The position partners closely with Information Technology, Enterprise Data Governance, Operations, Fleet, Cybersecurity, and software vendors.

 

This role can be based out of: Atlanta, GA / Coppell, TX and/or Herndon, VA. 

 

Enterprise EHS Governance

  • Establish enterprise standards for EHS business processes, workflows, and reporting.
  • Govern incident management, inspections, audits, corrective actions, environmental, fleet, and compliance workflows.
  • Ensure enterprise consistency across operating companies and acquisitions.
  • Define EHS KPIs, business definitions, and reporting requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement of enterprise EHS programs.

 

Business Process Ownership

  • Translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable business processes.
  • Prioritize business enhancements based on operational need and compliance risk.
  • Maintain business process enablement, forms, workflows, notifications, and reporting capabilities available within vendor-supported platform functionality.
  • Partner with EHS leadership to continuously improve program execution.
  • Support harmonization of acquired companies into the QXO operating model.

 

Business Partnership

  • Partner with Information Technology on integrations, security, enterprise architecture, and technical roadmap.
  • Partner with Enterprise Data Governance on business definitions and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, HR, Security, and business leaders.
  • Represent Corporate EHS during enterprise technology initiatives.

Reporting & Performance

  • Develop executive dashboards and business performance metrics.
  • Ensure reporting supports regulatory compliance and operational decision making.
  • Analyze enterprise trends to identify opportunities for risk reduction and program improvement.
  • Support executive reviews through meaningful operational insights.

 

Organizational Change

  • Lead enterprise adoption of standardized EHS processes.
  • Develop governance documentation and operating standards.
  • Support training and communication strategies.
  • Enable acquisition onboarding through standardized EHS processes.
What you will bring::

Required

  • 7+ years leading Environmental Health & Safety programs in a complex operating environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, environmental compliance, incident management, auditing, inspections, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting.
  • Experience designing and standardizing enterprise business processes.
  • Experience supporting enterprise EHS platforms as a business owner or functional lead.
  • Experience translating operational requirements into scalable digital workflows.
  • Strong executive communication and change management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience implementing or governing enterprise EHS management systems (e.g., EHS Insight, Riskonnect, Enablon, Benchmark Gensuite, Cority, Intelex, VelocityEHS, or similar platforms).
  • Experience leading EHS process standardization across multiple business units, operating companies, or acquisitions.
  • Experience translating regulatory and operational requirements into scalable digital workflows and business processes.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, KPIs, and business performance reporting using enterprise analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with enterprise data management concepts, including business definitions, master data, and reporting standards.
  • Experience partnering with Information Technology, Enterprise Data Governance, and third-party software vendors on enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience supporting organizational change management, user adoption, and enterprise training programs
  • Experience in a high-growth, acquisition-driven organization.
