A) working closely with each other to design and implement an age-appropriate educational program; (B) organizing and maintaining the classroom environment; (C) developing individual portfolio for each child; (D) working with parents and volunteers to improve their own parenting skills; and (E) working with other staff members to encourage each child’s overall growth and development. Each co-teacher is primarily responsible for four assigned children in the above areas.
Experience requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education or a degree and course work equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education, or An Associate Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) in infants and toddler. Three months experience teaching pre-school children (infants/toddlers).
Locations: EHS-Buckeye, EHS-Margaret H. Cone & EHS-Robbie Jones Head Start Centers.
