Build What Matters.Job Summary:As the EHS Training Manager (Bilingual - Spanish/English) , you will ultimately be responsible for developing and delivering environmental, health, and safety (EHS) training programs, conducting job site safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety requirements. You will coordinate employee safety education, perform workplace safety audits, and support DOT compliance while promoting a proactive safety culture across Congruex operations. As the EHS Training Manager, your customers are Congruex employees, field leadership, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory agencies, and you will make meaningful contributions to the company's success through safety leadership, regulatory compliance, and workforce development.Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):Conduct daily safety audits and inspections at active construction job sitesOversee worker safety and quality of work while promoting compliance with company safety policiesMonitor the condition and proper use of tools, equipment, fire extinguishers, ladders, power tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE)Ensure jobsite foremen consistently enforce the Company Code of Safe Practices and Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)Conduct investigations of injuries, accidents, and near misses while performing root cause analyses and implementing corrective actionsMaintain safety documentation, including training records, incident reports, inspection reports, and compliance recordsDevelop, coordinate, and deliver safety training programs including OSHA-required courses, First Aid/CPR, new hire orientation, fire extinguisher certification, forklift certification, DOT compliance, and other required safety trainingReview and update safety procedures and communicate regulatory changes to employees and leadershipIssue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as requiredEnsure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulationsRespond to incidents outside normal working hours and conduct weekend training sessions as business needs requireAdditional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needsRequired Qualifications:Education, Licensing, and CertificationsAssociate degree in Occupational Safety, Construction, or a related field requiredValid driver's license with a clean driving recordCurrent OSHA Construction 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferredBilingual in English and Spanish requiredExperienceMinimum of 3–5 years of construction safety experience, preferably within the telecommunications construction industryMinimum of 3 years of experience in safety training, safety investigations, or a closely related fieldExperience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance activitiesExperience delivering employee safety training and DOT compliance programs preferredSkills and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local safety regulationsStrong verbal and written communication skills in both English and SpanishExcellent organizational, planning, and documentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointAbility to interpret and apply safety regulations, company policies, and operating proceduresAbility to prepare reports, maintain records, and deliver professional presentations using audio/visual equipmentAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, consultants, government agencies, and clientsAbility to stay current with changing regulations, policies, equipment, and industry best practicesAbility to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:OSHA Construction 10-Hour or 30-Hour CertificationExperience supporting telecommunications or utility construction operationsExperience delivering OSHA, DOT, First Aid/CPR, Forklift, and Competent Person trainingExperience working in bilingual (Spanish/English) construction environmentsPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in both office and active outdoor construction environmentsAbility to walk on uneven terrain, work in trenches, and climb laddersAbility to work around heavy equipment and in varying weather conditionsAbility to travel regularly to construction job sitesAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and irregular schedules as business needs requireAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with or without reasonable accommodationCongruex Culture & Benefits:Congruex's culture of safety and performance is built on the 4X Factor core values of Be Safe, Be Accountable, Be Respectful, and Earn Trust.
