ProvidingEHSS leadershipbyservingas the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on EHSS mattersto include review,interpretationand summarization of EHSS regulations and standards to provide guidance to associates.
Servingasthe EHSSleaderon the Plant LeadershipTeamby providing EHSS input andcontributionsto theoveralldevelopment of annual goals and objectives.
Monitoring and evaluating the impactornew laws,regulationsand industry standards with a focus on seamless implementation into the site EHSS program.

Ensuringrecords, permits,and reports aremaintainedand prepared according to established guidelines by local,county,stateandcountryagencies.
Developing and implementing trainingfornew and existing Associates on company policies,proceduresandgovernmentalregulations.
Engaging with associates at all levels and across all functions to create an inclusive environment focused on the elimination of risk and promotion of individual safety. Defining the goals andobjectivesfor your directreports supportingKey Performance Indicators (metrics in Safety focused on Culture, Customer and Costs)
Leading the identification ofhazardous workplace conditionsby conducting documentedjob hazard analysis and coordinates activities to ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
Respondingto day-to-day Associate concerns inan appropriateandtimelymanner
Managestheinvestigation ofmore seriouswork-relatedinjuries andnear miss incidents.Documents findings, root causeanalysisand corrective actions. Managesworkers’compensation claimsandensurestimelyassociate return to work.
Leading the performance ofEHSS reviews, measures, audits,and reportsassigned by the EHSS Managerfocused onattainingand maintainingcompliance with EHSS laws, regulations, companypoliciesand best practices.
Leads and trainsEmergencyResponse Team (ERT) to be proficient in areas necessary at the facility including hazmat, incipient fire, medical or other potential emergencies.
Liaison to government agencies, emergencyrespondersand customers
Perform other functions asrequired.
Champions EHSS Excellence
Leads several elements of theEHSS program by working withsite associates focused on EHSS engagement goals includingsafety committees/teams,ergonomics, management safety audits,recurring EHSS inspections,Behavioral Based Safety (BBS),andspecial skills/certifications.
Promotes associate safety engagement by encouraging submittal ofobservationsandsuggestions,andreportingnear-missincidents.
Responsible for theassessment ofnew equipmentand chemicalscoming on site.
ManagesEHSS internal self-assessments.
Engaged ininternalandexternal inspectionsas needed tomaintaincompliance with EHSS requirements.

What sets you apart:
Evidence that you learn,retain, and apply knowledge. It would be great if you could share examples of accumulated technical learnings and experiences that link directly to outlined expectations of this role. Having earned abachelor’sdegreein environmental, natural, or equivalent science, engineering technology, occupational safety/industrialhygieneor fire safety – is one way todemonstrateyour abilities. Other ways include sharing examples of accumulatedEHSS learnings and experienceover a period of5-7years.
Professional certifications such CSP or CIH are preferred.
Ability to collaborate with other departments to meet common goals related to overall company strategy.
Certifications preferredinclude First Aid, CPR and AED, Laser Safety Officer, Forklift Trainer or other relevant EHSS Certifications
A calm demeanor that transcends the high energy, constantly changing production environment

Our total rewards program is designed to attract, retain, and motivate associates to contribute to Integer’s success. Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
