The EKG Tech I performs non-invasive electrocardiographic (EKG) tests to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac conditions, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. This role supports accurate and timely cardiac diagnostics, contributing to patient care and operational reliability. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire
Completion of an accredited EKG Technician training program preferred but not required.
Preferred Experience:
One year of experience performing EKGs or in a related healthcare setting Certified EKG Technician (CET) credential from a recognized organization such as the National Health career Association (NHA) preferred but not required.
