Overview
Performs EKG's on patients of all ages. Applies Holter and Event monitors on patients of all ages. Performs holter monitor downloading and documentation. Responsibilities
Receive, verify and process all necessary documentation of correct order and patient.
Prepare and maintain all equipment necessary for the performance of testing.
Prepare patient and perform EKG's, Holter and Event monitor application, and plethysmography.
Record procedures and patient responses on appropriate department forms.

Must be proficient in basic CPR.
Meet infection control standards as established by the Medical Center and Outpatient Cardiology Department.
Perform basic maintenance on equipment and notify manager of needed repairs.
Assist in evaluation of technical equipment specific to Outpatient Cardiology.
Provide input to the supervisor regarding changes in policy and procedures.
Knowledgeable in functions of CV Net, including assigning, troubleshooting, faxing reports, ordering and cancelling EKG's.
Monitors supply needs and provides to appropriate person for weekly supply orders.
Download Holter monitors and document information.
Adhere to behavioral standards.
Performs other related work as required or requested.
