Position Title El Dorado Head Start Reading Tutor Job Duties

| A. | Read aloud to students in a group or one on one setting

| B. | Work one on one with students by assisting with academic assignments related to pre reading skills

| C. | Perform simple and routine duties assigned by the classroom teachers or building manager

| D. | Assist with preparation of materials for reading or math assignments

| E. | Assist with any family literacy projects

Qualifications

Required knowledge and skills

| A. | Basic knowledge of early reading concepts being taught in the classroom

| B. | Preference will be given to a student seeking an Early Childhood or Elementary Education Degree

Required experience Required educational background

Federal Work Study eligible.
