Job Description
General Purpose: The Theater Assistant is a part-time position. To provide assistance and perform cashiering duties tickets and concession sales to customers at various regular and special events and activities. To ensure that guests are aware of safety policies and that all fire codes are enforced. Responsible for various customer service related duties and other theater duties in order to provide the best possible El Morro Theater experience for those who attend. The person in this position works a flexible schedule set forth by the Theater Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Provide assistance and perform cashiering duties tickets and concession sales to customers at various events and activities at El Morro Theater. Responsible for various customer service related duties and other theatre duties in order to provide the best possible El Morro Theater experience for those who attend. The person in this position works a flexible schedule set forth by the Theater Manager. Greet guests; answer questions and resolve problems while providing friendly; helpful and fast service. Serve fresh properly prepared food and beverages; restock concession supplies prior to each movie; and ensure all drink and popcorn machine equipment are functioning properly at the concession stand. Receive money for ticket sales and make correct change for customers or process credit card transactions; monitor money in cash drawer to ensure adequate change is available. Serve as an usher. Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions of concession stand and assist in cleaning facilities. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Theater Manager.

Ability to speak Navajo and/or Spanish
Adapt to the fluidity of programming and show times within both spaces.

STARTING HOURLY PAY: $12.00 p/h MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Identification card Six (6) months cashiering experience Must have access to cell phone landline or other means of communication for call-back purposes Other Conditions: Must pass a background check
