Qualifications:
- Valid Secondary Michigan Teaching Certificate (Grades 6-12)
- English or Language Arts (BX) or (BA) major or minor is required
- Must meet Michigan Highly Qualified Teacher qualifications in subject area; MTTC test is preferred
- Willingness and ability to work cooperatively. Experience in alternative education is preferred
- Credential file documentation of successful attainment, excellent student teacher and/or teaching experiences
- Knowledge and interest in Process Writing teaching methods necessary
- Computer/Technology knowledge such as Microsoft Office, Internet, E-Mail, Google, Creation of web pages, etc.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
Salary
