Create a flexible program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for education in accordance with each student''s ability; to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members along with the following:
-Support the implementation of research-based instructional strategies and methodologies in English/Language Arts through student-centered consultation, co-teaching, and coaching models
-Utilize state, district, and classroom assessment data to track student growth and achievement at the district, school, and classroom level to identify program and instructional strengths and needs
-Work collaboratively with Content Area leaders, department heads, and administrators to address the needs identified through professional development, curriculum alignment, and program identification
-Assist in the administration of state testing. Identify and provide targeted professional development based on identified needs and teacher interest
-Support teachers new to the district in implementing the English/Language Arts program and curriculum scope and sequence
