Position Overview

Norris School District is seeking a dynamic and adaptable educator with a background in English Language Arts (ELA). This position may be structured as either a general education ELA teacher or a special education teacher with experience co-teaching ELA, depending on the candidate''s qualifications.

The ideal candidate is skilled in project-based learning (PBL), demonstrates strong classroom management grounded in relationships and consistency, and thrives in a flexible, evolving educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate engaging ELA instruction aligned to standards and personalized learning goals
• Implement project-based learning experiences that connect literacy skills to real-world applications
