Location: Washington, DC
Pay Rate: $40 and up based on experience

As a School-Based ELA Teacher in Washington, DC, you will:

• Deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction aligned with district and state standards.

• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and student success.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

• Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff to maximize student achievement.

• Maintain accurate student records and comply with district policies and educational regulations.

• Foster critical thinking, communication, reading, and writing skills in students.

Job Details

• Position: Contract (Option to Renew)

• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday Friday

• Location: Washington, DC

• Grade Level: Elementary, Middle, or High School opportunities available

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or a related field

• Experience teaching English Language Arts in a school setting preferred

• Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
