Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Engineer specialized in Platform Support to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Elastic Stack technologies with a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, implement scalable solutions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services.
Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced support for the company's platform infrastructure, focusing on Elastic Stack components.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Conduct regular performance assessments, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely resolution of critical incidents.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in platform support technologies.
• Exposure to Ansible
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in platform support or related roles.
• Proficiency in Elastic Stack technologies (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) with hands-on experience in deployment, configuration, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with popular tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and system monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
