In this position, you will work with subject matter experts to prepare and deliver optimized online learning experiences. You will develop elearning courses that utilize graphics, audio, animations, and interactivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to create multimedia instructional materials for online courses (live and asynchronous)
- Identify unique and engaging methods to present content to a diverse audience
- Create, edit, and manipulate multimedia elements (text, graphics, audio, animation, video, and interactive exercises)
- Organize and combine multimedia elements to create courses that provide a cohesive educational experience
- Train others on use of various tools/technology used to deliver elearning materials
- Support internal staff and external consultants during live, online webinars
- Assist in developing multimedia materials to be used in sales and marketing efforts
- Follows established procedures and instructions, including utilizing internal style guide and appropriate external resources
- Maintain accurate information in our content and learning management systems
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage content and records electronically, including creating, editing, and navigating
- Organize and prioritize high volumes of content while meeting deadlines
- Act as final test user to ensure accuracy and functionality before content is available to our end users and troubleshoot issues
Requirements:
- Associate degree or at least two (2) years equivalent combination of education and experience in directly related field
- Demonstrated competence in building nline courses using a variety of elearning and multimedia tools, platforms, and concepts (Captivate, Storyline, Rise 360, Camtasia, PowerPoint, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop) - portfolio of prior work will be requested
- Knowledge of layout, and graphics design principles
- Experience with timeline-based editing of audio, video, and interactive elements
- Passion for learning with the ability to think critically
- Excellent attention to detail while in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take on additional projects as needed
- Distraction-free environment with a dedicated workspace
- Available to work occasional evenings and weekends for live online events
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices
- Experience with voiceover work or willingness to learn
- Experience with Totara / Moodie (or other LMS solutions)
- Experience with GoToWebcast (or other webinar solutions)
- Knowledge of CSS/HTML/JavaScript (or other coding languages)
- Familiarity with QuickBase (or other database solutions)
- Familiarity with automation tools
- Familiarity with designing for accessibility
- Video production experience
- Experience in medical education (medicine, nursing, pharmacy, etc)
