WE'RE HIRING — 2026 ELECTION WORKERS
SearchPros is hiring temporary Election Workers to support Yolo County for the November 3, 2026 General Election. Yolo County will operate Vote Centers throughout the county, including locations in Davis, Esparto, West Sacramento, Winters, and Woodland.
PAY
Bilingual Election Workers: $18.50/hour
Non-Bilingual Election Workers: $18.00/hour
Bilingual candidates are highly preferred!
Languages needed may include Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Nepali, Russian, Mien, Thai, American Sign Language (ASL), and more. Yolo County specifically encourages bilingual Election Worker applicants to help provide language assistance at Vote Centers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Election Workers help keep Vote Centers running smoothly and provide assistance to voters throughout the voting process. Responsibilities may include welcoming and checking in voters, issuing ballots, answering questions, providing language assistance, assisting with Vote Center setup and operations, using ePollbooks and other election equipment, managing lines, and helping maintain ballot security.
TRAINING
Training begins around September 21.
Candidates must be available to complete required online AND in-person training and have reliable computer/internet access for the online portion.
AVAILABLE ASSIGNMENTS
Candidates must be able to commit to an assigned Vote Center schedule. Opportunities include:
11-Day Vote Centers
October 24 – November 2: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Election Day, November 3: 7:00 AM–8:00 PM
4-Day Vote Centers
October 31 – November 2: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Election Day, November 3: 7:00 AM–8:00 PM
Mobile Vote Center
October 28–31
Assignment locations may vary.
Yolo County's first Vote Centers for the November election are scheduled to open October 24, with all Vote Centers open on Election Day, November 3.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be able to read and write in English, have reliable transportation to their selected Vote Center, complete all required training, commit to the full assigned schedule, and successfully complete the required background check.
Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical Screenings (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
