General Summary
This is a highly responsible professional position that involves planning, coordinating, and executing secret ballot elections throughout the State of Florida. These elections are conducted when public employees formally express an interest in union representation. The role requires strict adherence to legal standards and procedural integrity to ensure fair and impartial election outcomes. The incumbent must demonstrate a thorough understanding of labor relations, election protocols, and administrative processes while working closely with public sector employers, employee organizations, and other stakeholders.
Examples of Work Performed
This position will serve as a back-up to all the full-time positions in the Election's Office and be able to perform all the following duties when needed including:
Minimum Qualifications
An associate's degree from a college or university and/or two (2) years of professional experience in election administration, governmental or election-related work, customer service, or a related field.
Relevant experience may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.
Salary
Hourly Salary - $20.00/Hour
Part Time - 20-30 Hours
This is a part time position. This position is not eligible for remote work.
