Electric Motor Mechanic 2nd Shift

2nd Shift
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Job Summary:
- Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and test a variety of electrical/mechanical equipment (AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, etc.)
- Utilize tools such as multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers for accurate diagnostics and measurement
- Conduct failure analysis, document findings, and follow proper procedures for part identification and reassembly
- Perform in-house and on-site repairs; follow OEM, EASA, and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and final quality checks
- Requires 13 years of experience or relevant training (EASA/military)
- Strong skills in diagnostics, repair, and mechanical/electrical safety practices at a skilled trades level
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):
1. Do you have Industrial Electric Motor Experience (not automotive motors)
2. Do you have Motor Mechanic Experience
3. Do you have Motor Mechanic Experience Winding experience - preferred
4. Do you have 9001 - preferred
5. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
