Electric Motor Mechanic

We are hiring an experienced Electric Motor Mechanic for a full-time industrial repair position in Corpus Christi.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working hands-on with electric motors and rotating equipment and understands the mechanical side of motor repair after winding work is completed.

What You'll Do

• Tear down and rebuild industrial electric motors
• Inspect internal components and determine what needs repair or replacement
• Replace and service bearings, seals, shafts, fans, housings, and other mechanical components
• Perform mechanical measurements and verify proper fit and tolerances
• Reassemble motors and prepare equipment for testing
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical issues
• Work with pumps, gearboxes, generators, and other rotating equipment when needed
• Read work orders, repair specifications, and technical drawings
• Maintain a safe and organized shop environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience repairing industrial electric motors or rotating equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with bearings, shafts, seals, alignment, and mechanical assembly
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools and standard shop equipment
• Able to work independently and as part of a repair team
• Industrial motor shop, pump shop, refinery, manufacturing, or heavy-equipment repair experience is preferred
