Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer
Seeking a skilled and seasoned Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) working with EPC on industrial capital projects from concept, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction.
- Size and specify instrumentation and controls including pressure and temperature transmitters, flow meters, modulating control valves, regulators, on/off valves, and actuators
- Create datasheets and work with vendors to get quotes for instrumentation and controls
- Coordinate with process engineering team to select the appropriate devices
- Create schematics, termination drawings, or loop sheets for instrument wiring
- Design custom control panels to meet the project need
Skills and expertise.
- B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of related experience in engineering and design of instrumentation and controls for capital projects.
- Experience sizing and specifying instrumentation and controls to include pressure and temperature transmitters, flow meters, modulating control valves, regulators, on/off valves and actuators.
- Experience with FEED and detailed engineering process
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
