What you’ll do:
Implement design changes for Plumbing and Electrical systems in AutoCAD to ensure documents are fully coordinated and ready for construction.
Prepare and update Construction Documents (CDs) to present to general contractors.
Accurately pick up and implement redlines into CAD drawings.
Develop detailed electrical and plumbing layouts for residential projects, primarily wood framing construction.
Ensure documentation aligns with applicable building codes, including knowledge of Texas code requirements.
Coordinate drawings to ensure clarity and constructability for local builders.
Maintain organization, precision, and efficiency while managing revisions and updates.
Work independently while integrating seamlessly with the client’s team.
What you must have:
A degree in Architecture or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Electrical and Plumbing drafting and documentation.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Advanced English level.
Proven experience producing and updating full CD sets for general contractors.
Experience picking up and implementing redlines efficiently and accurately.
Background working on residential projects, preferably wood framing construction.
Working knowledge of Texas building codes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple revisions under deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, flexible environment.
