Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or Trade School education required
• Specialized electrical certification preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with electrical systems
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, SCRs, controllers, and electrical troubleshooting
• Gas burner systems or HVAC experience is a plus
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and CAD drawings
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record required

Job Duties

• Wire, test, troubleshoot, and commission electrical systems on industrial furnaces, kilns, and ovens
• Interpret electrical schematics, P&ID loops, and control diagrams
• Install and configure PLCs, drives, temperature controllers, and other control devices
• Fabricate and install components according to engineering drawings
• Perform equipment startups, repairs, rebuilds, and installations at customer locations
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers
• Ensure compliance with UL, CE, and quality standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams to suggest process and product improvements
• Travel up to 20% for domestic and occasional international service work
• Complete other duties as assigned

• Stand, sit, kneel, crawl, climb, bend, and work in confined spaces as needed
• Ability to operate machinery and perform hands-on electrical and mechanical work
• Strong manual dexterity, color vision, and depth perception required

What You Will Do

As a Electrical and Service Technician you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position. Successful Electrical and Service Technician professionals demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work while contributing to organizational success.

• · Electrical know how (understand high and low voltage schematics, drives systems, temperature controllers, P&ID loops, basic understanding of PLC programming, phone support and troubleshooting). · Experienced in the use of a variety of electrical control devices (Controllers, PLC, SCR, VFD). · Wires all electrical systems maintaining UL and CE compliance, background with ISO 9001 will be helpful. · Knowledge of 3-phase, single phase, VAC and VDC circuits. · Knowledge of 4-20mA and 0-10V loops. · Ability to read blueprint and/or electrical schematics. · Fabricate and install parts that conform to Engineering CAD drawings. · Analyzing needs and product requirements to improve designs. · Provide back of potential improvements to Engineering Dept. · Performs furnace fieldworks for setups, rebuilds, repairs, installs, and start-up. · Travel Fieldwork is required for this position (less than 20%).
• Travel infrequently via car and air (international travel requires a passport).
• Involve customers access to information subject to ITAR. · Other duties as assigned.
