This supports their client's uptime of mission‑critical facilities for many of the world's largest organizations and government facilities including Enterprise Data Centers, Colocation Providers and Hyperscale Companies.Responsibilities Manage projects, create designs and plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary electrical engineering design role for all sizes of data center facility design projects- enterprise data centers, Colocation Providers and for Hyperscale CompaniesCreate Conceptual Designs gathered from meetings with the client or from internal stakeholdersWork with Management to respond to RFPs; Review shop drawings and submittals; Review and respond to RFIsTrack and communicate project status, technical requirements, and customer information; ensure documentation is properly created, stored, and transferred per quality processesRecommend appropriate product/system applications to meet customer requirements and operational objectivesCreate, present, and review electrical schematics, system diagrams, and Electrical one‑line drawings, schedulesDevelop clear written and verbal communications to describe technical solutions and product capabilitiesPartner with management and internal departments to identify and reduce commercial, technical, and delivery risks tied to customer and vendor ordersProvide technical application engineering support for internal stakeholders and external customersPerform intermediate to advanced electrical design tasks including development of electrical distribution systems and topologies, infrastructure and equipment layouts and selection / sizing of equipmentUtilize BIM / Revit software to prepare drawingsReview and / or prepare book or sheet specifications for electrical systemsDevelop and / or review sequences of operationsIdentify potential project scope changes and aid in development of strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlinesPrepare project design and construction documentsQualifications 4-10+ years experience as a Power Systems Electrical EngineerExperience working for MEP / A/E FirmsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringLicensed PE / EIT a PlusPrevious experience using: BIM / RevitExperience working on data center / mission critical projects a plusExperience with Electrical Power Systems and Equipment - UPS / Uninterruptible Power Supply, Batteries, Switchgear , Busways, Power Distribution Units, Backup Power , Electrical Power, Power Systems , Medium Voltage, etc.Experience working on complex data center/mission critical facilities design projects a plusStrong understanding of data center infrastructure and mission‑critical environmentsAbility to read and comprehend electrical schematics and specificationsDemonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and proceduresDemonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issuesAbility to successfully work independentlySelf Starter, self motivated, and should prioritize wellEffective Communicator – emails, phone and face to faceComplete assignments accurately and with attention to detailAnalyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondenceAbility to work under pressure and meet close deadlinesOrganizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)Previous military experience a huge plus!
