Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is seeking an experienced Apprentice Electrician to join our team in San Antonio. The Apprentice will be responsible for assisting the Journeyman Electrician in installing or maintaining various approved wiring methods for the distribution of electrical light, heat, power, radio, and signaling utilization systems in existing buildings as well as new construction projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Bends pipe and pulls wire
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Assist Journeyman in troubleshooting electrical problems
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper and safe functioning
- Maintains constant communication with the Journeyman and Foreman
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: - 1-year of relevant work experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Texas Apprenticeship Card
- Must be self-motivated
- Able to work in fast pace environments and accomplish tasks in a timely manner
- Electrical tools required
