Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentice to join our electrical division. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the electrical trade, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team. You’ll work alongside licensed electricians to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems for residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble electrical conduit and wiring under supervision
- Pull wire through conduit and prepare electrical components for installation
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on all job sites
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
- Load and unload materials, and assist with job site preparation and clean-up
- Learn electrical codes, trade practices, and company standards
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn the trade
- Ability to follow directions and work under supervision
- Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from our shop
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred (but not required):
- Enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship or trade school program
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
