Aerotek is hiring Electrical Assemblers for an Industrial Facility located in the south Memphis area (38118). This position will move to Byhalia, MS around September 2026. If interested and qualified, please apply for immediate consideration.

Job Description
This apprenticeship offers a structured training academy that prepares you to assist with and eventually perform mechanical and electrical builds of customer products. You will learn to read and interpret point-to-point wiring schematics and diagrams for 480V, 120V, and 24V systems, and receive in-depth training in crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing UL panels and subassemblies. After completing the training academy, you will work in a production cell environment wiring, assembling, and testing industrial control panels and switchgear systems according to detailed specifications.

Work Environment
You begin in a one-week training academy held on-site in a classroom-style lab environment where you learn safety, electrical wiring fundamentals, standard protocols, and point-to-point electrical reading. Training includes both paper-based learning, such as reading schematics and correctly labeling wiring, and hands-on practice using tools, adding ferrules, crimping, terminating, landing wiring, and aligning wiring in panels for proper tracing and testing. Expectations mirror a professional training or classroom setting, and adherence to conduct and dress standards is required. After training, you work in an extremely clean, temperature-controlled production environment. The electrical assembly area consists of cell stations with large working areas, where teams of approximately 5–7 technicians collaborate to assemble units according to specification. You primarily remain within your assigned work cell for the duration of your shift. All tools and materials needed to complete assembly are provided on site, and no outside tools are required. The role follows a weekend 2nd shift schedule of 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Friday through Sunday, after completing the first-week training academy on 1st shift.
