Build one of a kind industrial machines at PCT Ebeam and Integration in Davenport, IA. The Electrical Assembler wires, fabricates, and assembles parts to create completed panels, controls systems, and large industrial machines. This role performs a variety of tasks with some degree of complexity, requiring thorough knowledge of electrical theory, fabrication techniques, tools, materials and equipment. Some of the essential duties and responsibilities include: 1. Builds electrical panels by cutting, drilling, and tapping enclosures, including the use of hole saws, punch tools, jig saws, drills, and taps. 2. Wires panels according to schematics by crimping ferrules and lugs, routing and landing wires point-to-point, and inspecting for workmanship and build quality. 3. Solders connectors on cable ends when required. 4. Wires machines between panels and field devices, including applying device labels and wire labels to maintain organization. 5. Bends conduit and threads pipe as needed for installations. 6. Assists with troubleshooting during equipment startup and supports resolution of wiring or connection issues. 7. Manages tasks using Kanban boards to provide supervisors and project managers with accurate project status updates. 8. Follows all electrical safety procedures and maintains a clean and organized work area. 9. Communicates build issues or design discrepancies to engineering or supervisors in a timely manner. 10. Provides support to coworkers by answering questions, demonstrating tasks, and sharing knowledge to help others become familiar with tools, materials, and work practices.
