Electrical Assembler – Elgin, IL

Join our growing team as an Electrical Assembler!
We are seeking motivated individuals with hands-on mechanical or electrical experience to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels and components. This is an excellent opportunity to improve your technical skills and advance within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical panels, sub-assemblies, and control cabinets per engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Install and align electrical components, ensuring proper fit, function, and quality.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Perform basic to advanced wiring, soldering, and testing of components.
  • Collaborate with engineers and senior assemblers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete daily production reporting.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or associate degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Mid-level candidates (2–5 years) should have proven panel building or electrical assembly experience.
    • Senior-level candidates (5+ years) should be skilled in troubleshooting, mentoring, and complex electrical builds.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience using hand tools, drills, and wiring equipment; soldering experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
