Electrical Assembler Job Description <\/div>
Shift:<\/b> 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM <\/span><\/p>
Wage:<\/b> $25 / Hour <\/div>
<\/div>
Overtime:<\/b> Occasionally 10 extra hours per week (up to 55 hours in specific situations); not demanded. <\/div>
Company Overview:<\/b> Specializes in building electrical boxes for marine and Navy applications, including high -voltage (480V) and low -voltage (24V) systems. Involves control panels, PLCs, circuits, and wiring for power systems on ships. Different from traditional power line work; focused on 2 -4 foot boxes. <\/div>
Key Responsibilities:<\/b> <\/div>
Assemble and wire electrical boxes with high/low voltage components. <\/li>
Land wires in control panels, following electrical prints (e.g., pin 23 -25, positive/negative/neutral). <\/li>
Work with wire gauges from 4 gauge (thickest) to 12 gauge. <\/li>
Read and interpret electrical schematics for PLCs and circuits. <\/li>
Contribute to systems for filtration pumps, skids, and ship power systems. <\/span> <\/li><\/ul>
Qualifications and Requirements:<\/b> <\/div>
Experience in electrical assembly, wiring control panels, and reading prints. <\/li>
Familiarity with PLCs, circuits, and voltage systems (480V to 24V). <\/li>
Not requiring traditional electrician background (e.g., power lines); focus on panel/box wiring. <\/li>
Open to various experience levels; attitude and trainability key. <\/li>
