We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components, panels, and control systems. This role requires the ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and wire electrical panels, wiring harnesses, and control systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Perform electrical connections, including soldering, crimping, and wire termination.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Inspect and test assembled components and systems to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or assembly-related issues.
Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and electrical testing instruments safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation of assembly, testing, and completed work.
Collaborate with production teams and engineers to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow company procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in electrical assembly, electrical wiring, panel building, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Experience with hand tools, soldering tools, crimping tools, and electrical testing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and assembly issues.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices and procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical training, certification, or vocational education in electrical or electronic assembly.
Experience assembling electrical control panels or wiring harnesses.
Familiarity with quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with standard working hours; occasional overtime may be required.
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive assembly tasks.
Work may involve exposure to manufacturing noise and electrical components.
