    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels, industrial equipment, and electrical subassemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate has experience reading electrical schematics, using hand and power tools, and producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Assemble electrical control panels, cabinets, and industrial equipment.
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
    • Install, route, terminate, and label wiring according to engineering specifications.
    • Mount electrical components including relays, terminal blocks, switches, sensors, circuit breakers, transformers, and power supplies.
    • Perform continuity checks, electrical testing, and functional verification of completed assemblies.
    • Troubleshoot wiring and assembly issues and make necessary corrections.
    • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and electrical testing equipment safely.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
    • Follow all quality standards and safety procedures throughout the assembly process.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of electrical assembly or industrial manufacturing experience.
    • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
    • Experience wiring industrial control panels or electrical equipment.
    • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational electrical training is preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience building custom industrial machinery or control panels.
    • Familiarity with PLC components, sensors, and industrial electrical systems.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical assembly issues.
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine-building environment.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
    • Ability to distinguish wire colors accurately.
    • Manual dexterity for precise wiring and assembly work.
    • Ability to work safely around electrical components and manufacturing equipment.
