Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
Assemble electrical components and subassemblies according to detailed schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to accurately install wiring, connectors, and electronic parts
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure correct assembly procedures
Conduct testing using ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing tools to verify circuit integrity and functionality
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Observe work areas for unsafe practices, equipment malfunctions, and PPE compliance, and promptly report concerns to the Lead or Supervisor
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and suggest process improvements
Maintain organized and efficient work areas to meet 6S standards
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months' experience as an electrical assembler
Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings and schematics
Proficiency using hand tools and power tools
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Availability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 5%, sometimes with limited notice
Proficiency in English language, both oral and written
