    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Electrical employee works throughout the facility. This position supports the goals of the manufacturing departments by providing a diverse array of interrelated responsibilities. The Electrical Technician will work with the Electrical Team to improve and develop our manufacturing quality and efficiency as well as developing train-in-field start-up and service technical abilities.

    FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

    • Electrical installation of control panels and related equipment including cables, harnesses, and motors.
    • The electrical assembly involved in, the layout and assembly of electrical systems and sub-systems, and troubleshoots problems that arise on the floor and in the electrical lab.
    • Reads and interprets work orders, line diagrams, and schematics.
    • Communicates appropriate issues with Electrical Team immediately.
    • Ability to work in a multicultural team environment.
    • Electrical conduit experience (EMT, Rigid, liquid-tight) includes routing and bending.
    • Knowledge of NEC.
    • Ability to wire lighting & GFI circuits.
    • Trained in electrical safety procedures.
    • Ability to read basic electrical schematics.
    • UL 508A industrial panel building experience a plus.
    • Experience with PLC or DDC controls system, wiring, and system knowledge a plus.
    • Must be able to bend, twist, push and pull.
    • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation is a must.
    • Must have a can-do, positive attitude, and the ability to thrive working in a fast-paced team environment.
    • Must pass a background check and drug test.
    • Other duties assigned by management.

    EDUCATION:

    Electrical Degree from Technical College or University.

    SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • 3-5 years of electrical experience.
    • Able to read and interpret schematics and wire lists.
    • Experience in HVAC service is a plus.
    • Must have power panel experience along with troubleshooting and testing systems.
