Key Job Responsibilities

As an Electrical Assembly I team member, your key responsibilities will include:

• Consistently promoting a safety-first culture by rigorously following all company safety policies and actively identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
• Carefully reviewing blueprints, assembly instructions, and component lists prior to starting work to guarantee accuracy and efficiency throughout the assembly process.
• Proactively gathering all necessary tools, components, and subassemblies ahead of time to maintain an organized and streamlined workflow.
• Performing precise assembly of electrical components using templates and measurement tools, ensuring optimal fit, function, and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborating with and assisting experienced technicians to build your proficiency and gradually take on greater independence in task completion.
• Executing routine preventive maintenance on assembly equipment following manufacturer recommendations, promptly reporting malfunctions or safety concerns to uphold operational reliability.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization at your workstation while complying with industry-wide standards for safety and cleanliness in the work environment.
• Accurately documenting production activities and quality control results, ensuring traceability, compliance, and standardized record keeping.
• Engaging effectively with team members and supervisors, fostering a cooperative and positive working atmosphere that encourages communication and mutual support.
• Contributing to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback and actively participating in team initiatives focused on enhancing productivity and safety.

Qualifications/Requirements

To thrive in the Electrical Assembly I role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and requirements:

• Strong proficiency in basic mathematics to perform precise measurements and assembly calculations essential for quality work.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret measuring tapes and dimensions to ensure components meet specifications.
• Familiarity with standard hand tools and an understanding of selecting and using them safely and effectively for various assembly tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions thoroughly and consistently replicate assembly procedures with high accuracy.
• Understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements for specific job functions and adherence to established PPE protocols to maintain personal and team safety.
• Basic blueprint reading skills enabling interpretation of technical drawings and assembly guidelines with confidence.
• Strong teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and contribute positively to team dynamics.
• Commitment to maintaining clean, organized work areas along with routine maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and workplace safety.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including background checks, drug screening, and physical examinations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
