Electrical Assembly Technician

GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Denver, CO looking to add an Electrical Assembly Technician to their team. The role is a FTE position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electrical sub-assemblies, wiring harnesses, connectors, and control modules using bills of materials, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Perform component-level, subassembly-level, and full-system electrical testing, including performance and endurance testing
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to ensure proper installation and functionality
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions
  • Fabricate wiring harnesses, connectors, and electrical modules with a high level of precision
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards when working with live voltages and high-energy systems
  • Safely work on energized systems using proper PPE and electrical safety practices

Qualifications:

  • 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Electrical Apprentice required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or technical degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC control circuit fundamentals
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and electronic schematics and engineering drawings
  • Experience with electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet production schedules
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve production issues
  • Experience working safely around live voltages and high-energy equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project needs and production priorities
