Electrical Assembly Technician
GavinHeath is partnering with a client in Denver, CO looking to add an Electrical Assembly Technician to their team. The role is a FTE position.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical sub-assemblies, wiring harnesses, connectors, and control modules using bills of materials, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Perform component-level, subassembly-level, and full-system electrical testing, including performance and endurance testing
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to ensure proper installation and functionality
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions
- Fabricate wiring harnesses, connectors, and electrical modules with a high level of precision
- Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards when working with live voltages and high-energy systems
- Safely work on energized systems using proper PPE and electrical safety practices
Qualifications:
- 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Electrical Apprentice required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or technical degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC control circuit fundamentals
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and electronic schematics and engineering drawings
- Experience with electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet production schedules
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve production issues
- Experience working safely around live voltages and high-energy equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Flexible and adaptable to changing project needs and production priorities
