Pay:$19.00–$24.00 per hour(Based on Experience)
Location:Sand Springs, OK 74063
Shift:Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to join an industrial manufacturing team in Sand Springs. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, installing, and testing electrical control panels and conduit systems according to blueprints, schematics, and production specifications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on industrial electrical wiring experience, can confidently read electrical schematics, and has experience installing both EMT and rigid conduit. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical professional who enjoys detailed, hands-on assembly and troubleshooting work.




Required Experience & Skills

• 1–5 years of electrical wiring experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience assembling and wiring electrical control panels
• Experience running, bending, and installing EMT and rigid conduit
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
• Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards
• Experience with industrial panel fabrication and testing
• Ability to use multimeters and other electrical testing equipment
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship




Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial electrical control panels according to blueprints, schematics, and material lists
• Install and wire electrical devices, controls, and related components
• Route, terminate, and organize wiring according to electrical drawings and specifications
• Bend, install, fit, and secure EMT and rigid conduit systems
• Read and interpret electrical prints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings
• Use electric and pneumatic tools to drill, grind, fit, and assemble components
• Test completed control panels and electrical assemblies using multimeters and other testing equipment
• Troubleshoot wiring, component, and electrical assembly issues
• Verify completed assemblies meet established quality and safety requirements
• Work from ladders and perform assembly tasks in confined or difficult-to-access areas when required
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures, electrical standards, and production requirements
• Perform additional electrical assembly and fabrication duties as assigned




Electrical & Technical Experience

Candidates should be comfortable working with:

• Industrial electrical control panels
• Electrical wiring and terminations
• EMT conduit
• Rigid conduit
• Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Multimeters and electrical testing equipment
• Industrial electrical devices and controls
• Electric and pneumatic assembly tools




Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial control panel manufacturing experience
• Advanced panel wiring and fabrication experience
• Strong conduit bending and installation skills
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with industrial control systems and electrical components
• Experience testing completed control panels prior to installation or shipment




Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive hand movements
• Ability to safely work from ladders as required
• Ability to perform work in confined or difficult-to-access areas
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for detailed electrical assembly
• Ability to safely operate electric and pneumatic tools while wearing required PPE




Work Environment

• Industrial electrical manufacturing and assembly environment
• Hands-on work involving control panels, conduit systems, electrical components, wiring, and fabrication equipment
• Regular use of hand tools, electric tools, pneumatic tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Detail-focused environment requiring accurate interpretation of electrical drawings and specifications
• Four-day Monday–Thursday work schedule focused on quality, productivity, safety, and customer requirements
