Job Title: Electrical BIM Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical BIM Coordinator to support modeling and coordination efforts for electrical systems. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Revit and BIM processes, looking to continue growing their technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems.
• Perform model setups and ensure project standards are followed.
• Coordinate with architects and other trade BIM coordinators.
• Review and respond to redlines, updating models and plans as needed.
• Assist with 3D coordination and clash detection efforts.
• Support drafting and design updates within Revit.

Essential Skills

• 1-10 years of overall BIM experience.
• 1-2+ years of electrical BIM / Revit experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit with a strong focus on electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and layouts.
• Experience with modeling, drafting, and 3D coordination.
• Experience can be from either contractor or design environment.
• Experience with commercial projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of electrical circuiting or mechanical principles is beneficial.
• Exposure to data center projects is a plus.

Work Environment

This role offers a fully remote work environment, with the option to work from any state, though preference is given to candidates from Colorado or Florida. Offices are available in Arvada, CO, Colorado Springs, CO, Melbourne, FL, and St. Petersburg, FL, for those who prefer an in-office setting. The company offers a generous PTO policy of up to 41 days per year, including shutdown between Christmas and New Year, and provides flexible work hours. The role primarily supports data centers but offers long-term exposure to a variety of project types. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
