We are seeking an Electrical BIM Technician to join a collaborative team supporting the design and development of building systems for a variety of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys producing high-quality technical drawings while working alongside experienced design and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and revise electrical layouts using Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards.
- Create accurate 2D drawings and construction documentation from project requirements.
- Coordinate drawing updates with project team members to maintain current design information.
- Review and organize print drawings while supporting document control throughout the design process.
- Assist with project documentation and drawing management using project collaboration platforms.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a BIM or CAD Technician supporting electrical design projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience using Bluebeam and Procore for document review and project coordination.
- Background working within the MEP industry.
- Understanding of electrical drafting standards and construction documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent drafting experience preferred.
