Position Overview: This position is responsible for creating and updating drawings including schematics, components, and assembles in both 2D and 3D systems. Position provides hands-on design support and expertise to Project Engineers and others in the company. Required/Preferred Skills and Abilities: - Associate’s degree or applicable experience, 3+ years desired
- 2D and 3D CAD experience, AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred
- Proficiency in use of MS Office Suite
- Strong organization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- SolidWorks PDM experience a plus
- Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical system interaction and design
Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively within the engineering team to complete required project drawings on schedule
- Positively contribute to the engineering process and develop alternatives that allow the company to deliver consistently high-quality products and solutions to our customers
- Implement process improvements and standardization around product designs and platforms
- Willingness and drive to accept, plan, and complete special projects
- Ability to prioritize and flexibility to shift priorities as required
- Other duties as assigned
