Immediate need for a talented Electrical CAD Technician. This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Phoenix, AZ (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested. Job ID:26-15219 Pay Range: $25 - $28/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities: Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts. Assist with preparing and revising plot drawings. Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures. Responsible for adhering to the drafting practices of selected discipline. Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects. Assist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs. Assist in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts. Research solutions to project concerns and recommend solutions to design problems. Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers. Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all policies and standards. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key Skills;Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting design supporting electrical projects utilizing AutoCAD. Skilled in Detailing Work, Documentation Review, Preparing Site Plans, drafting & design techniques. Min High School Diploma/GED AND course work in drafting technology + min 2 yrs relevant experience is Required. Specialized CAD certification preferred. Min GPA 3.0. Must have a AutoCAD experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Demonstrated leadership skills. Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
