Altum<\/b> <\/b>is currently accepting applications for a full -time Electrical Chemical Mechanical Engineer for our operation based out of Eustace, Texas. The ideal candidate is expected to execute projects autonomously and work directly with our mechanical engineering team for more extensive project work.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering  with a under<\/span>standing of Mathematics, Electrical and engineering principles.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Demonstrated ability to solve highly technical problems<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Direct experience with the use of spreadsheet and database software to compile, analyze, and present data<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ability to execute tasks with minimal oversight.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Project management experience a plus
    <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Some of the duties may include the following:<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>


    <\/div>
    • Using Chemical Scientific, mathematical, and electrical engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Observing production processes, conducting research, and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Research, design, and develop new production processes.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Coordinate and perform tests.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Analyze data to develop conclusions and communicate results of analysis and research.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Create standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, documentation, models, and test results to ensure technical designs comply with applicable engineering standards and product requirements. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Troubleshoot and isolate system problems discovered during production and determine root -cause, including design defects and production/supplier defects, and recommend near -term workaround. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Perform verification testing and data collection to support the implementation of corrective actions including technical analysis, calculations, and evaluation of results using specialized equipment and computer programs. <\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Recommend design enhancements for the system, subsystem, or component design to the design engineering group.  <\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives, policies, and rules.<\/span>

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places with a risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may be very loud. <\/span>
