TempExperts is seeking an experienced Electrical Component Assembler for a manufacturing facility in Seattle, WA. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and assemblies used in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has strong electrical assembly experience, can interpret electrical schematics and blueprints, and has experience producing quality electrical assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble electrical components, subassemblies, and wiring according to specifications and work instructions.
Wire and test equipment using electrical schematics, diagrams, and test documentation.
Install electrical components, controls, relays, switches, and related hardware.
Perform soldering, crimping, and electrical connections using proper tools and techniques.
Test electrical devices and assemblies to verify proper operation.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist with resolving assembly or equipment-related problems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
Utilize multimeters and other electrical testing equipment to perform inspections and diagnostics.
Complete quality inspections and testing of electrical-mechanical assemblies.
Support production and engineering teams with electrical assembly needs and process improvements.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow established safety and quality procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following continuous improvement practices.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational or technical training in electrical technology preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
Experience wiring, soldering, crimping, and assembling electrical components and electromechanical systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills using multimeters and other electrical testing equipment.
Understanding of electrical theory, motor control circuits, and quality inspection procedures.
Experience supporting industrial or electromechanical equipment manufacturing preferred.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) preferred.
Experience assisting with engineering improvements or manufacturing process enhancements preferred.
Must be able to successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
