Description

ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support to the design, development and selection of basic hardware components utilizing fundamental electrical engineering principles, theories and techniques.Obtain working knowledge of company tools. Perform analyses and compile data for investigation by senior engineering personnel.Support the fabrication and testing of prototype or deliverable hardware. Document and present results.Support assemblers, technicians and inspectors for manufacturing issues on new and existing products.Develop or improve test fixtures, tooling, manufacturing processes and other procedures for new and existing product builds to reduce defects and improve yields.Participate in and document corrective action requests using 9 Step problem solving methodology.Other duties and responsibilities as required.Internship OpportunitiesNetworking with BAE Systems employees and interns.Informational sessions on a variety of topics exclusively for interns.Program OverviewIn this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co‑op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and other students in the program.Required Education, Experience & SkillsPursuing a BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus and interest in RF Engineering (or equivalent) - No Computer ScienceEligible for DOD Security Clearance.MUST be able to relocate to Southern NH areaMUST have reliable transportation to and from assigned work siteMUST be able to work full 40‑hour work week (Exceptions made for academics with advanced notice)NOTE: BAE Systems has multiple campuses within driving distance in the Southern NH Region. You may be assigned to a different regional location in your final staffing placement.Preferred Education, Experience & SkillsAbility to research and apply electrical engineering principles and theories to solve RF engineering problems.Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Excellent problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner.Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.Experience in VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog, Cadence, HFSS, MATLAB or LabVIEW is a plus.Pay InformationFull‑Time Salary Range: $49592 - $68993Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
