Electrical Construction Inspector - BESS

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Inspector / Electrical Field Representative to support the Wind Farm Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project in Rogers, New Mexico. You will help oversee the installation and construction of electrical systems associated with a large-scale renewable energy and battery storage project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide field oversight of EPC contractors performing electrical construction activities.
• Monitor and verify installation of low and medium voltage electrical systems.
• Oversee Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) electrical construction and commissioning activities.
• Ensure electrical work is completed following project specifications, drawings, codes, and contract requirements.
• Review construction activities and provide technical recommendations during project execution.
• Inspect electrical installations to verify quality, workmanship, and compliance standards.
• Resolve field issues in collaboration with contractors and project team members.
• Maintain a safety presence and ensure adherence to all safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.
• Support daily coordination with construction managers, engineers, and contractor teams.
• Document project progress, observations, and corrective actions when required.
• Monitor daily field activities to ensure systems are installed, wired, tested, and functioning properly.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of electrical construction, inspection, or field oversight experience.
• Experience with low and medium voltage electrical systems.
• Experience overseeing electrical contractors on industrial, utility, renewable energy, or large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with electrical construction standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Work full-time onsite in a field construction environment.
