This company has been a trusted name in commercial electrical construction for more than 40 years, delivering complex projects throughout the Bay Area with a strong focus on education, public works, design-build, modernization, and site electrical construction. The firm performs a diverse portfolio of work including ground-up construction, campus modernizations, stadium and athletic facility lighting, service upgrades, and electrical infrastructure projects.

Job Details

What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid electrical estimates
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit vendor/subcontractor pricing
  • Develop project budgets, schedules, manpower forecasts, and procurement plans
  • Manage commercial electrical projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Lead client meetings and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, and engineers
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, material procurement, and project documentation
  • Monitor project financial performance, productivity, and schedule compliance
  • Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure successful project execution
  • Support Design-Build and Design-Assist delivery methods

What We're Looking For
  • Experience estimating and/or managing commercial electrical construction projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, distribution, lighting, and low-voltage infrastructure
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Experience with public work, education, healthcare, commercial, or institutional construction is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Design-Build and Design-Assist projects is a plus
  • Proficient with estimating software, Excel, and project management platforms
